MathVision was a teacher-centered, video analysis tool sponsored through a seed grant from The Ohio State University. In collaboration with Dr. Michael Battista and the Bexley City School District, Dr. Chao and his research team developed a web application for teachers to analyze and discuss video of their students’ mathematical thinking with each other. Much of the intellectual work involved in MathVision project evolved into Dr. Chao’s current Digital Math Storytelling project. Unfortunately, the MathVision website and app are no longer operational.
